Shela Bust 2024

As I way to get myself back into drawing again, I decided my project would be drawing busts of my characters. The first one was Shela of course! It's not a bad drawing but it wasn't quite what I wanted, I felt her muzzle in particular was too short and ears too small. Plus in the process I realized that I should probably just stick to flat colouring these. {View flat colour version here But it was fun, I enjoyed getting some practice in before I drew the final version. Plus I actually like this background best out all three versions, it was just too detailed for the flat colour counter parts.
